V for Vendetta

V for Vendetta was awesome. It was smart, funny, inspiring, topical, and well-acted. Cliches were avoided, the timing was good, the action was spot-on (including "knife time" from the makers of "bullet time"). Hugo Weaving pulled off a role that depended entirely upon body language and vocal inflection with a precision that makes me weep, and Natalie Portman rocked the role of Evey all the way to the bank. Do yourself a favor, and even though it is the MPAA, take time to at least steal this movie, or preferably see it in the theater.

Carrabba's was excellent, with enough spaghetti to fill a large serving bowl (I, being me, ate it all, of course). Thanks to Cassie for making the dinner fun; how she maintains such a positive happy attitude even while working food service, I'll never know. And Matt avoided any particular wall-wetting incidents (he knows what I mean)

Have a great weekend people.
